Mission
To show Angola to those who live here and those who come from abroad, with organisation that leaves no room for improvisation, and in groups small enough for people to genuinely get to know one another.
Terra & Road was born from a simple observation: almost everyone living in Angola knows Luanda and little else.
The country has some of the largest waterfalls in Africa, a plateau at seventeen hundred metres, five hundred kilometres of near-empty coastline and roads that cross all of it. What is missing is someone to organise it with the care it deserves.
That is what we do. Four to six day routes, in groups of eight, with everything handled from the moment we leave Luanda until you are back.
To show Angola to those who live here and those who come from abroad, with organisation that leaves no room for improvisation, and in groups small enough for people to genuinely get to know one another.
To be the reference for roadtrips in Angola, and to prove that quality tourism can be done in this country, to standards that stand comparison with any destination.
Transparency. What is included and what is not, written down before anyone pays.
Small groups. Eight people, not thirty. It is what allows us to sleep on farms, reach places a coach cannot, and let travellers actually meet each other.
Local partners. Angolan lodgings, drivers and guides, visited one by one before they join a route.
Respect. For the communities, the traditional authorities and the places we pass through. We ask permission, we pay what is due, and we leave no trace.
Give us the destination, the dates and the number of people. We'll build the route around you.
